Dear fellow parents,
we don’t own our kids,
we don’t control our kids,
we don’t design our kids,
our kids are not ours,
our kids are not our belongings,
our kids don’t have to conform to us,
our kids don’t have to follow our orders,
our kids don’t have to be what we want,
our kids don’t have to be like us,
our kids don’t have to obey to us,
our kids don’t have to do as we wish,
our kids reflect our behavior back to us,
our kids do what we do,
we explain things to our kids,
we explain reasons to our kids,
we explain why to our kids,
we program their minds,
we act and they learn,
we help our kids,
we listen to our kids,
we listen well to our kids,
we let our kids express freely,
we help our kids express freely,
we share our values with our kids,
we get to try to know who they are,
we learn from our kids,
we learn from what we see in them,
we see our reflection in them,
we love our kids unconditionally,
we help them find out who they are,
we let them help us find who we are,
we support them to be what they want to be,
we are always there for them,
our kids are not ours.
